Jane Doe has lived in Ward 4 for more than fifteen years. She and her husband Sam are raising two kids here, and she runs Doe Family Hardware on Main Street, the store her parents opened in 1988.
Behind the counter, Jane hears what neighbors care about: the intersection that floods every spring, the park that needs lights, the family trying to open a bakery who waited eight months for a permit. She has spent years helping people work through city hall one problem at a time. Now she wants to fix the problems at the source.
Jane has served on the Ward 4 Neighborhood Association board, coached youth soccer, and organized the annual Main Street cleanup. She is running for City Council to bring that same practical, roll-up-your-sleeves approach to the city's budget and services.
